Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professional name of Winona Laura Hoowitz, born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after the town she grew up in. Their father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father is from an ethnically Jewish family. The actress is the younger sister of Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder was born in the United States and moved with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder developed into a fervent books reader since there was no television. In 1983 when she was twelve, Ryder was accepted into the American Conservatory Theatre to take classes in acting. In 1986, she got her first role on the big screen in the movie Lucas aged just fifteen years old. Ryder faced bullying during high school. Her performing career, she thought she would be able to assist her. Unfortunately, that did not take place. However, she continued to pursue her goals. Ryder made her breakthrough with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in 1988. Ryder continued to be successful in her roles in many movies. Two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
